Mechanical Supervisor – Data Centres – Amsterdam, Netherlands Salary:€80,000 - €90,000 + Accommodation + Rotation + Travel + Living Allowance
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee the mechanical installation works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
You will coordinate subcontractors, plan works in line with project schedules and liaise with other disciplines to ensure smooth and efficient progress.
This is a rotational role with accommodation, travel, and allowances provided – ideal for candidates with data centre or large-scale mechanical project experience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct weekly toolbox talks to ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met.
Deliver weekly progress and issue reports to the project management team.
Coordinate site activities with other trades to maintain smooth project workflows.
Prepare and manage a two-week lookahead programme for upcoming works.
Maintain labour levels in line with the project programme and deadlines.
Drive high-quality mechanical works, ensuring all systems meet specification and client requirements.
Oversee subcontractor teams to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Identify and report variations or delays to senior management.
Ensure all plant materials on-site are in line with agreed specifications.
Monitor and manage the safe delivery, coordination, and storage of materials.
Verify that all subcontractor plant and access equipment are certified, compliant, and in safe working order.
Work closely with MEP teams, project managers, and clients to deliver mechanical packages to the highest standard.
Support the commissioning process by ensuring mechanical systems are fully tested and compliant.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, ideally within data centre or mission-critical environments.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and piping installations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
Proactive problem solver with a focus on quality and safety standards.
EU passport or the legal right to work in Sweden is essential.
